New Creation Kids spans preschool through Year 6. Every lesson has a school-aged version and a preschool adaptation, so two ministry groups can teach the same Bible passage on the same Sunday at an age-appropriate depth.
New Creation Kids is written from a reformed evangelical position. Lessons hold a high view of Scripture, keep Christ at the centre of every passage, and trace the unity of the Bible's one redemptive story. It’s designed to sit comfortably in gospel-shaped, evangelical churches without requiring denominational adjustment.
Sessions are designed to run for 45-60 minutes. The leader guides encourage leaders to do personal preparation, with sufficient support and scaffolding provided. There are a variety of options to choose from and slides and activity resources are included so there's nothing to build from scratch.
Yes. While the curriculum provides separate school-aged and preschool tracks, the underlying passage and big idea are the same each week, so a combined group can work through the same content together.
New Creation Kids has been designed with the conviction that part of a church's role is to be developing and growing leaders in their ministry. The leader notes use the Teaching Target framework, as used in Youthworks' LiT training program, to encourage leaders to develop their own exegetical skills. There are also videos provided and additional resources to help leaders grow in their ministry.
Every week of New Creation Kids includes family Bible reading cards and discussion guides. These are designed to be printed and handed out each week. There are also additional family discipleship resources and guides that can be shared throughout the curriculum. These are designed to be printed and handed out on Sunday, or shared digitally through your church's normal communication channels.
Pricing is per church, not per volunteer, so your whole team accesses the same materials under one subscription. No counting seats, no extra admin as your team grows.
New Creation Kids is a product of Youthworks in Sydney. It is being written by experienced children's ministry practitioners on the Ministry Support Team alongside other children's ministry workers in local churches. It is being published by Youthworks Media.
